Electronic Engineer specialize in Telecommunications from Federico Santa Maria University. He initially worked as a specialist in the development of integration, automation, control and plant management projects. In addition, he has deployed SCADA software, process monitoring and productive efficiency.

Subsequently, he completed a postgraduate degree in Renewable Energy at the University of Zaragoza, Spain. In parallel he worked supervising the technical group of the European Renaissance project on energy efficiency in buildings.

When he returns to Chile, he worked as an Energy Management and Efficiency Engineer at the JACOBS Consultant, evaluating and analyzing energy saving opportunities in mining investment projects, minimizing the use of energy in the design and selection of equipment.

He is currently Senior Advisor of the renewable energy and energy efficiency program developed by the German Agency for international cooperation (GIZ) in conjunction with the Chilean Ministry of Energy, where he develops and manages several studies in concentrated solar power (CSP) and photovoltaic plants (PV), energy efficiency in Mining and hydrogen technologies.
